I’m speaking today at the Business Faculty at Arden University, Birmingham, on “Mind your Business, It’s your Calling!”. This is my second talk. At the beginning of the month, I gave my first, which was entitled, “Sort yourself, Sort your Stuff, and You’ll be Sorted”. We focused on hashtag#resilience and hashtag#legacy, the kind which gets you out of bed every day, knowing that your service is making a difference in somebody’s life.
Today’s talk is about hashtag#boldleadership – the type that takes hashtag#risks. Did you know that the most dangerous people to your organisation’s hashtag#growth and hashtag#flourishing are those who are intelligent but with a hashtag#fixed hashtag#mindset that is afraid of taking risks? We believe them because of their intelligence, but their reluctance to embrace new ideas and approaches hinders hashtag#innovation, hashtag#adaptability, and overall progress. What we need is a hashtag#growthmindset.
I anticipate a great learning opportunity to influence the hashtag#nextgeneration of business and legal leaders for a better tomorrow.
