At a time when hashtag#organisations are realising more and more that simply focusing on hashtag#competency and hashtag#efficiency doesn’t bring the best results, Cecilia Harvey is providing answers. Staff cohesion around the business imperative is making a difference.
Cecilia and I have been supporting each other’s work online for quite some time. So, you can imagine my thrill in bumping into her with her eye-catching stand at Retrain Expo 2023, at the Excel Exhibition Centre. After catching up with her, it became apparent that her work is helping hashtag#workplace hashtag#culture to improve so that staff are better cohering for greater hashtag#effectiveness. Remember, it’s not just efficiency. It’s about effectiveness.
Remember, efficiency focuses energies primarily on austerity and things. Effectiveness focuses primarily on abundance and people. The two are not diametrically opposed. You can be efficient without being effective. But you can’t be effective without being efficient (at least to an appreciable degree).
