While wining and dining at the recent GG2 Leadership and Diversity Awards Ceremony last week, I had the great pleasure of meeting the towering, Professor Patrick Vernon in the flesh.
We were suited and booted but not distracted lol.
We are purposeful about who we are and what we do. We’re doing leadership and inclusion work for staff in corporate and public institutions across all levels, we’re in Higher Education – both in research and PhD supervision – and we’re edifying leaders in the charity sector.
It’s great to connect with a kindred spirit who is humble yet resolute about his purpose and impact.
For others in the industry – keep up the magnificent work. Your difference is making a difference in the industry. You are opening doors, breaking glass ceilings, moving the dial along, facilitating harmonious cultures and bringing economic value. Don’t stop and who knows I might even bump into you somewhere sometime 😊
